Local restrictions are subject to change at short notice. There is currently no direct travel from the Bahamas to the UK however, British Airways plan to resume operations in February 2021. Domestic and international flights are limited. Travellers returning to the UK from the Bahamas need to quarantine for 14 days. Since 1 July 2020, borders reopened for international tourists. A negative Covid-19 test no more than 7 days old must be presented upon arrival as well as proof of the completed Health Visa filled in prior to travel to the Bahamas. Arrivals from all countries are recommended to travel to the Bahamas for essential purposes only and will undergo mandatory 14 day government quarantine at the travellers expense.
