France Covid-19 Travel Information

Summary of France Coronavirus Situation

Last Updated:

10 December, 2020
Local restrictions may differ between regions. Some restrictions are relaxed from 28 November. Since 15 August 2020, the FCO advises against all non-essential travel to France and those returning to the UK from France need to quarantine for 14 days. Travel restrictions have been lifted for travellers from the EU, Schengen area, the UK as well as some third-party countries. All arrivals by sea and air need to complete a “sworn statement” form certifying that they do not have Covid-19 symptoms and have not been in contact with any confirmed cases in the last 14 days. Those travelling from other third party countries not stated above need to complete an international travel certificate and need to quarantine for 14 days (unless a negative Covid-19 test is presented upon arrival). Depending on the category your country of departure falls in to, you may need to present a negative Covid-19 test or be tested upon arrival, otherwise you will need to quarantine for 14 days.
