Greece Covid-19 Travel Information

Summary of Greece Coronavirus Situation

Last Updated:

10 December, 2020
Since 14 November 2020, travellers returning to the UK from Greece need to quarantine for 14 days. Since 11 November 2020, all travellers entering Greece need to present a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival taken no longer than 72 hours before arrival. Local restrictions in Greece are constantly changing. Since 1 July 2020, international travellers from Schengen area countries, non-EU Schengen area countries, Ireland and the UK, as well as some third party countries have been allowed to enter Greece. All travellers need to fill in a Passenger Locator Form at least 48 hours before arrival otherwise they will have to pay a €500 fine or will be denied entry. Some arrivals need to present or undergo a Covid-19 test upon arrival and need to self-isolate at their confirmed accommodation until their test result is received. If these travellers test positive for Covid-19, they have to quarantine for 14 days in accommodation provided by the government.
