Spain Covid-19 Travel Information

Summary of Spain Coronavirus Situation

Last Updated:

10 December, 2020
Since 23 November 2020, those travelling to Spain (including children) from risk countries need to present a negative Covid-19 test result taken within no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Since 14 November 2020, those travelling to the Canary Islands need to present a negative Covid-19 test result at the check-in of their tourist accommodation and will need to download the Radar COVID notification app throughout your stay on the islands. Local restrictions may differ depending on the region. Since 25 October 2020, the FCO advises against all non-essential travel to the country, therefore travellers returning to the UK from Spain have to quarantine for 14 days except those returning from the Canary Islands. Since June 2020, Spain has lifted border controls with all EU member states, Schengen area countries and some third party countries. Visitors no longer need to quarantine upon arrival. Spain has accepted UK tourists without the need to quarantine. Travellers need to fill in a Public Health Form online 48 hours before arrival and must present the QR code upon arrival.
